I have lived in the Willamette Valley for most of my life, aside from the time I spent as a child living on the Oregon Coast. After graduating from Dallas High School in 2003 I continued my education at Western Oregon University earning a B.S. in Speech Communications. Saying that I love the Willamette Valley would be an understatement. I love being in the middle of wine/beer/cider country, being close to the mountains and the coast, access to endless trails for beautiful hiking.
Family:
My daughter is a classic teen who loves her friends, beloved pets, drama, reading and writing. I have had the opportunity to coach and volunteer on many of her sports teams throughout the years, which is one of my passions. My husband is a refugee from Ukraine. He is the best, empathy and patience at the highest level (must have qualities when living with me). My Stepson is a kind soul who is quick to learn (usually self taught) his many hobbies. He just started his first year of Track. Lastly, my Stepdaughter, she is a ball of energy. She is a Daddy's girl and attached to him at the hip. Zeus is our family dog that we adopted a week prior to COVID- so he loves his people and is a 100lb lap dog.
My Dad was the Art teacher at DHS for many years, he has retired but can't stay away. He continued as a substitute and recently accepted a short term contract for his old job to help out. My Mom also recently retired and is spending her time with her grandchildren and taking care of her Mother, my Grandma. I have two younger brothers who I am lucky to call some of my best friends.
